Bunny Cinnamon Rolls
When it comes to planning Easter brunch, you can’t go wrong with cinnamon rolls. But, why not take it to the next level by making Easter bunny cinnamon rolls?
They are super easy to make and you can get the kiddos in on the fun. The one tip I have is…make plenty because these mouthwatering treats will “hop” right off the table!
To make it even easier for you, I’m including a printable recipe card at the end of this article for easy reference.
Ingredients
- Cinnamon Rolls
- Food Coloring
- Sprinkles
- Candy Frosting Flowers

Kitchen Tools
- Spatula
- Frosting Knife or butter knife
- Cookie Sheet
How to Make Bunny Cinnamon Rolls
Start by pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees.
Place the cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Unroll half of the cinnamon roll to create bunny ears. Don’t worry if they look a little wonky. Once baked, they will fill in nicely.

Place the cinnamon rolls in the oven for 12 minutes.
Make the Frosting
While the cinnamon rolls are baking, separate the frosting into equal piles. Use food coloring to make the color. I love soft pastel shades for spring!

Just add a few drops at a time of food coloring until you get the shade you are happy with.

Remove the bunny rolls from the oven and let sit just for a couple of minutes. You want to smother them in frosting when they are still warm.
That way the frosting gets in all the nooks and crannies.
Decorate the Bunny Cinnamon Rolls
Now for the fun part…decorating the adorable bunny rolls! This is a great time to involve the kiddos.
Check out the baking section at the craft store for pre-made frosting flowers and don’t forget the sprinkles.
They have so many cute designs, including pastel bunny sprinkles that kids will love!

You can even make your own frosting flowers using a flower tip and a ziplock bag. Just snip off a tiny bit of the corner and you have a pastry bag. So cute!

The main thing is to have fun with it.

Serve these darling bunny rolls on a festive dish and watch them disappear.
In addition to Easter brunch, these would also be an extra-special treat for an after-school snack or weekend breakfast.
